About this Position

As the Production Manager for Seal for Life Industries (SFL) in Abu Dhabi, you will lead all production and order consolidation activities and light manufacturing site. With the plant preparing for an expanded industrial footprint, you will play a vital role in setting up and optimizing operations to support future product localization. The role requires strong coordination across functions, hands-on leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, compliance, and team development.

What you´ll do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all site-based production and order consolidation operations.
  • Manage day-to-day production floor activities to meet safety, quality, and output standards.
  • Coordinate incoming raw material flow and outbound finished goods with planning and logistics teams.
  • Collaborate with site departments (QA, HSE, Maintenance, Planning) to ensure smooth, aligned operations.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and regulatory/environmental compliance standards.
  • Lead and develop shopfloor staff through coaching, SOP training, and performance feedback.
  • Track key production metrics (output, downtime, yield, efficiency) and generate regular performance reports.
  • Drive cost-efficiency and process improvement projects; identify and eliminate waste.
  • Respond promptly to production issues, machine downtimes, or bottlenecks and coordinate fixes with Maintenance.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams, setting KPIs, and achieving operational targets.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and manufacturing data tools.
