Join Our Digital R&D Team at Henkel and work in a cross-functional and agile R&D Digitalization Team that enables a global R&D community of scientists and engineers to leverage State-of-the-Art IT solutions – from AI-powered predictive modelling to cloud-native data platforms.
As part of Henkel’s Research & Development organization, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of product development and innovation - empowered by modern data and software engineering practices.
What you´ll do
- Enhance our R&D Digital team with your expertise in modern data engineering and cloud-native development
- Develop and manage ETL processes, data pipelines, and workflows with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks
- Manage, Create and maintain robust API endpoints to support data processing and enable ML model deployment by Data Scientists
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps principles (IaC)
- Contribute to the design and operation of Azure Storage and Azure Databases, ensuring performance and integrity
- Collaborate closely within the R&D Digitalization team and align with Henkel Central IT throughout the entire lifecycle — from design to deployment and monitoring
- Monitor and continuously optimize the cloud environment with respect to performance, security, cost, and reliability
- Be open to expanding your own technical horizon by tackling diverse challenges along the full E2E tech stack for R&D specific use cases
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven expertise in Azure Databricks and building scalable data pipelines, solid understanding of API integration and Azure cloud-native architecture and experience with Terraform and cloud automation is beneficial
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies and a willingness to grow beyond your core area
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, willingness to help others, take responsibility, and actively share knowledge and experiences within the team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and good German language skills
