About this position
What you´ll do
- Assist in preparing profit & loss statements for various business units
- Help monitor and plan marketing expenses in collaboration with the team
- Learn to work with business planning tools and relevant software applications
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Assist in forecasting Net Sales and EBIT for CA, contributing to estimation efforts
- Provide support in analyzing business results and financial performance of different areas
- Review key financial indicators such as turnover, margins, cost variances, purchase prices, and A/R or A/P days
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tracking tools and procedures to support business unit teams in monitoring their responsibilities
- Support the coordination of calendars, helping track deadlines and responsibilities for financial planning and closings
What makes you a good fit
- Has successfully passed first semesters of business-related studies, ideally focused on controlling, finance or accounting
- First relevant work experience, preferably internationally in area of finance, e.g. controlling, accounting, credit control
- Fluent in written and spoken English Profound knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Team player with excellent communication and very strong analytical skills
- Pro-active mindset, out of the box thinking and high degree of performance orientation
- Possibility for a bilateral internship-agreement with the university
