PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our 18-month CHAiNGERS Operations & Supply Chain Trainee Program prepares you for a fast-track development in the Operations & Supply Chain organization at Henkel Adhesives Technologies.
Throughout the program, you will gain comprehensive insights into the different functions of Operations & Supply Chain, drive projects in our manufacturing sites, build a broad network, and benefit from an individual training and development plan that will prepare you for future positions within our organization.
During the program you will:
- Gain excellent production knowledge & understanding of our value chain and become familiar with the shopfloor culture
- Experience rich shadowing experiences with on-site teams & functions
- Understand the technology within the plant
- Contribute to highly visible and high-impact strategic projects
- Earn your Green Belt through Lean Six Sigma training
- Participate in tailored learning experiences that ensure relevant professional development
- Receive high level of visibility and guidance from your onsite supervisor, subject matter experts and senior leaders throughout the program
- Lead impactful projects within the scope of Operations & Supply Chain connected with cross-functional departments

What you'll do
- Full engagement with the 18-month trainee program, acquiring a broad overview of the role and tasks of operations and supply chain management at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
- Support daily activities at your designated plant, resulting in an overall understanding and appreciation for the full AO value chain – this includes introduction to different supply chain-related functions like strategy, digital business, procurement, and sales to build a broad understanding of the organization.
- Own and drive multiple cross-functional projects that lend to continuous improvement within your plant, allowing you to develop deep insight into the different functions of operations and supply chain.
- Engage in training and networking experiences to drive preparation for taking on potential leadership roles within our organization in the future.
During the program you will benefit from: - Individual trainings, development plans, a high level of visibility, manager’s guidance, network with senior leaders and other trainees globally.
- Upon completion of the program, and assuming good performance and business need, you will be placed in a position across the operations and supply chain organization at one of our regional locations where the knowledge and expertise learned through the program will provide you with a wide range of career opportunities.
What makes you a good fit
- Top graduated student from engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Materials, Production, Mechanical, Systems)
- 2-3 years of experience at most (Production, Quality, Engineering, Lean, SHE, Consulting, Digital, Data Analysis)
- Up to 2-3 years of work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Fluent/Advanced English skills
- Ability to work at a manufacturing site (Jundiaí/SP or Itapevi/SP), as role is 100% on-site
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage effectively with all levels of management
- Proficient in active listening and asking insightful questions to gain deeper understanding
- Skilled in delivering presentations and tailoring messages to meet the needs of diverse audiences
- Effective time management and organizational skills, ensuring timely and efficient task completion
- Aptitude for continuous learning and self-development, with interest in new technologies, digitization and data analysis
- Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration within teams (previous internship/co-op experience is preferred)
- Willingness and drive to become a future leader
- Ability to develop a systemic overview of the organizational processes and how they integrate
- Demonstrated willingness to look for different answers & approaches related to the task in hand (benchmarking, networking, technical database, etc)
- Demonstrated curiosity about understanding problems, assessing distinct points of view and challenging status quo.
