About this Position

Lead and manage regulatory compliance and registration activities of laundry/homecare, insecticide and cosmetic products in South Korea with the Ministry of Environment (MOE) and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). 

What you´ll do

  • Develop regulatory strategy and update the strategy based upon regulatory changes and business needs
  • Manage and execute regulatory compliance activities as required by the local regulation
  • Lead regulatory submission and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle, including labelling, advertising/promotional material review, and management of product changes
  • Prepare and support registration documents for export markets
  • Review and analyze R&D, technical, and regulatory data, as well as inquiries from marketing, business, and trade
  • Provide regulatory guidance, consultation, interpretation and advice to relevant departments to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor emerging local/regional regulatory trends and assess their potential impact on products and organizational processes; proactively share relevant updates with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and internal teams
  • Collaborate with global/regional R&D to align strategies and ensure timely support

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum (7) years experience in Regulatory Affairs and people manager experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry related field is preferred
  • Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning chemicals (Laundry & Homecare), insecticides regulated by the Ministry of Environment (MOE), or cosmetics regulated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is preferred
  • Fluent in Korean and English (both written and verbal communication) is required
  • Strong time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to critically analyze and apply knowledge to develop innovative regulatory strategies is required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required
  • Candidates with a pharmacist license are preferred
