What you´ll do

  • Perform all aspects of blending liquid products which includes, but not limited to the following: 85% 
  • Assistance in the Sanitization Program including but not limited to: 
    • Deliverance of steam through the system to storage tanks.
    • Maintenance and preparation of sanitization totes.
    • Coordination of sanitization between supervision and Blender Operators.
  • Ensure the safe handling of all chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards.
  •  Ensure the proper and safe cleanup or reporting of spills. d) Ensure the proper operation of the hot and cold soft water system to include:
    • Monitoring of the salt tank.
    •  Addition of salt to the salt to tank.
    •  Monitoring of regeneration times start to finish.
  • Operational knowledge of all quality testing to include:
    • pH testing.
    • Hardness testing of soft water unit and soft water storage tanks.
    • Perform analytical testing on finished product when needed.
  •  Maintain thorough knowledge of the fluid flow from raw material storage tanks or day tanks to mixers and premixers and fluid flow from mixers to packaging storage tanks.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the waste water system to include the drains and pits associated with this system. 
  • Proper operation of all mixers and equipment. 
  • Recording and maintenance of shift forms and logbooks. 
  • Use proper methods for reporting broken or leaking equipment to management and supervision. 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all formulations. 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the non-bulk storage area.
  • Maintain the stock level and record lot numbers of non-bulk and bulk raw materials in the process. 
  • Perform troubleshooting for equipment and batches.

What makes you a good fit

  • High school education or equivalent. 
  • High school chemistry and math 
  • Six months experience as Liquids Blending Operator or equivalent experience as Lead or Supervisor in other blending operation. 
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Elementary mechanical aptitude. 
  • High School chemistry and math.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Must be able to enter confined spaces. 
  • Must be able to climb ladders/stairs safely to heights of roof – up to 120 feet. 
  • Must be able to climb on and around equipment, which includes bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Must be able to communicate with others.

The salary for this role is $26.71 - $32.65. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
