<span>What you´ll do

  • Be aware of happenings and developments in the external landscape and make changes (If necessary) to the Henkel Standards
  • Develop new or updated procedures/standards/tools for the Adhesives community. This should be based on prioritized topics based on gap analysis across the organization and higher applicability
  • Correct and effective management (Storage and easy retrieval including access control) and communication of these procedures/standards/tools
  • Ensure required stakeholders are fully made aware of new or changed procedures/standards/tools to boost effectiveness and reduce process safety events
  • Support capability building at sites to progress on maturity path to achieve breakthrough objectives
  • Contact point for Adhesives with Henkel Corporate SHE and collaboration for updating cross-BU procedures, standards, external benchmarking, etc.

What makes you a good fit

  • You are technically proficient with applicable PSM standards, HAZOP/LOPA, Explosion Safety, Functional Safety, Consequence Modelling (e.g. PHAST)
  • Clear and effective communication in this role is crucial to articulate safety policies, procedures, and risks to diverse groups within the organization, fostering understanding and compliance
  • You lead by example, inspire others, cultivate a strong safety culture, and positively influence stakeholders even without formal authority
  • You identify the right process safety problems, analyze for root causes, and devise effective, adaptable solutions to proactively mitigate risks and prevent incidents
  • Understanding and valuing others' perspectives helps build trust and a supportive environment where safety is a shared priority
  • Being flexible to adjust safety practices in changing and unique environments ensures continuous relevance and effectiveness of safety management systems
  • You work across departments, disciplines, and hierarchies to implement comprehensive safety measures and influence behavior change
  • You uphold high ethical standards and prioritizing safety over shortcuts builds trust and sustains a culture where safety is non-negotiable
  • You manage pressure and organize tasks efficiently which help maintain focus on safety priorities amid competing demands
