What you´ll do

  • Manages day-to-day activities of a team responsible for moving goods and materials, including developing schedules, methods and routes
  • Develops and implements transport and distribution procedures to optimize resources and achieve volume targets
  • Delivers operational excellence and manages transportation of all business units
  • Leads and drives sustainability initiatives projects at a local level Identifies and leverages the use of modern technologies such as robotics, IoT or AI to foster efficiency, automation, and collaboration
  • Manages performance and measures the impact of the digitized supply chain with the help of big data, KPIs and integrated systems
  • Cycle Count raw material, FGI, Blocked Stock, and Rework. Investigate discrepancies and approve corrective actions Manage and schedule DOT & CTPAT requirements and training for all employees at facilty
  • Responsible for training and confirmation of process order accuracy. Investigate all errors and correct.
  • Coordinate and schedule rework for out of spec and aged material. SAP accuracy resolution, receipts, issues, master data.
  • Waste treatment management of people, supplies, through put.
  • Aged inventory analysis, NCMR, rework opportunities Performs, JSA, Susa Conversations, safety walks, and LPA as required

What makes you a good fit

  • Management of logistics, material movement, and process flow of daily operations.  Includes but is not limited to customer shipments, material movements, returnable dunnage processes, customer response protocol, and customer delivery ratings.
  • Management of material movements includes but is not limited to maintaining delivery/shipment creation, order tracking, material storage, material receipts, cycle counts and root cause analysis for inventory inaccuracies.
  • Provide support for plant finished goods shipments, inventory consumptions, and material flow to production processes.
  • Lead metric improvement plans and increasing performance of all logistical activity for the plant. 
  • Support other plant initiatives to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity targets for the site.
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration - preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience in Supply Chain or Operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • SAP experience required.

The salary for this role is $100000.00 - $120000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
