About this Position

We are looking for a Team Manager in Corporate Controlling team, a person who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution. In this role, you’ll split your time between leadership of a small team (performance management, talent development, building stakeholders‘ relationships), and operational excellence in area of subsidiary controlling (risk reporting, company valuation, financial analysis). What you´ll do
- Supervise and guide overall team performance
- Set clear goals, track progress, allocate tasks, and organize the work schedule to ensure successful service delivery in relevant business or functional areas
- Clarify non-standard inquiries with respective counterparts and actively support the migration of processes to GBS Bratislava
- Identify development areas for team members and provide opportunities for their professional growth.
Facilitate communication by acting as a bridge between management and the team - Foster creativity and encourage the team to seek process improvements, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team outcomes
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and motivation within the team
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of high-risk countries using macroeconomic and financial performance indicators
- Validate Henkel’s investments in affiliated companies and subsidiaries
- Consolidate and forecast external shareholders’ results to support financial decision-making
- Collaborate with Headquarters and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives such as capital measures and dividend planning & reporting
- Help transform reporting processes from Excel to modern tools like Power BI and MS Lists
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What makes you a good fit
- Major in Finance/Accounting or minimum 2 years of experience in controlling/reporting/finance
- Minimum 2 years of proven leadership experience
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) - BI Tools and VBA is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking, data preparation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret financial and non-financial indicators, including the formulation of conclusions and recommendations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across all levels
- Leadership & people management - proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve high performance and engagement

Minimum salary: 2500 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview).
