What you´ll do
- Analyzes workload and communicates to operators the need to move from various operations throughout the day depending on workload needs.
- Driver of continuous improvements & efficiencies of their assigned area.
- Promotes a Continuous Flow Manufacturing (CFM) mentality and can foster a self-directed work team environment.
- Performs multiple manufacturing operations in which tasks are complex and typically involve the resolution of unusual or difficult problems.
- Can use and understand specialized tools (Mic’s, Tape Measure, Scales, Thermal Tester, Peel, Oil Absorption, Capillary Rheometer, etc.) to understand and resolve various job or process related problems by themselves or with the aid of engineering.
- Uses process & quality records to improve assigned area and works with the others to establish corrective actions to mitigate ongoing concerns.
- Identifies any equipment malfunctions and puts actions into place to get resolved.
- Ensure proper training of assigned employees, and supporting documentation is current.
- Updates documentation as necessary.
- Ensure 5S, Safety, EMS and QMS concerns are addressed promptly or communicated upward.
- Leads or provides detailed pass down information/meeting to oncoming shift to ensure their success.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What makes you a good fit
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Performs most assignments totally independent, requiring little to no supervision, while assisting in providing work direction to operators within assigned area.
- Leads by example in a personal and professional manner and communicates in a professional and tactful manner.
- Helps build Teamwork across the shifts
- Must be able to forward think to reduce bottleneck production areas
- A high level of independent judgment and proficiency is required daily basis
- Good communicator and motivator of others
- Able to solve complex problems
- Ability to multitask
- Strong organizations skills to coordinate workflows
- Able to provide constructive feedback to aid in operator’s success
- Can convert U.S standards in metric measurements and weights
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees/departments.

The salary for this role is $20.00 - $20.75. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
