What you´ll do
As part of the role, you will:
- Prepare and execute technical visits such as meetings, audits, running trials and troubleshooting issues
- Be responsible for product recommendations, customized products applications, demonstrations of new products at customer sites (within Europe and occasionally globally)
- Provide solutions to enhance customer processes
- When needed, coordinate and supervise laboratory work for samples coming from customers with following technical reporting
- Be responsible for technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers
- Give input to product development and customer projects, create project plans, achieving project goals within specified timeframes
- Directly communicate with different teams (sales, product development, business development, innovation)
- Coordinate and lead meetings with various stakeholders
- Contribute to implementing the company strategy and cluster strategy
What makes you a good fit
- You hold a Master’s in Engineering, ideally in Chemical Engineering
- You have a 7 to 10 years of professional experience
- You are fluent in French and English
- You have knowledge in surface treatment, preferably for metal coil applications (steel and aluminum surface treatment, rolling oil, ...)
- You like to solve problems, are able to design, improve and document application engineering processes
- You have good communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
- You are highly adaptable to different work environments and different customers
- You demonstrate good organizational, analytical, project and time management skills
- You are a great team player with hands-on mentality and ability to multi-task
- You are willing to travel (up to 40-50% of the time) within Europe and occasionally globally
