About this Position

What you´ll do

  • Drive and deliver impactful sourcing initiatives across local and regional markets, ensuring excellence, compliance, and value creation in alignment with strategic priorities defined by the Regional Henkel Adesives Technology Manager (HAT Manager).

    Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sourcing Execution: Manage and execute sourcing projects across multiple countries (LATAM) and categories (CTs), adapting to dynamic business needs and aligned with defined regional priorities.
  • Champion Digital Excellence: Ensure consistent adoption and effective use of digital tools, systems, and standardized processes across all sourcing activities.
  • Ensure Compliance & Transparency: Guarantee full documentation, traceability, and adherence to compliance standards for every sourcing event.
  • Accelerate Category Expertise: Proactively onboard into new categories and markets by leveraging available learning resources and knowledge platforms to quickly build expertise.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner closely with Global Category Team Managers (g-CTM) to gain category insights and address supplier-related escalations effectively.
  • Contribute Beyond Sourcing: Support and execute cross-functional and regional initiatives, including sustainability programs and corporate projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Escalation: Collaborate with Purchasing HAT Manager to resolve stakeholder escalations and ensure strong business alignment.
  • Reporting Line: Report directly to the HAT Manager, contributing to regional procurement performance and strategic objectives. 

What makes you a good fit

  • Experience in Purchasing (Direct Materials - Chemicals)
  • Business Acumen (General & Procurement): strong understanding of end-to-end business dynamics, translating strategy into value-driven procurement decisions.
  • Advanced negotiation skills with a focus on sustainable value creation, cost optimization, and long-term supplier relationships
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Spanish as a plus (desired)
