What you´ll do
Lead the long-term category vision and growth strategy across the Americas, driving portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, and overall category performance for a designated product portfolio. This role leads and aligns category strategy at the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) level, determining growth opportunities, innovation priorities, and portfolio direction, while regional teams are accountable for executing plans within their markets.
- Lead portfolio strategy and prioritization across regions, shaping investment decisions, portfolio direction, and long-term revenue growth plans
- Define and drive the innovation pipeline and roadmap, partnering with product development leaders to guide projects from concept through commercialization
- Identify whitespace opportunities using end-user, customer, shopper, competitive, and market insights
- Own category performance diagnostics and translate insights into strategic actions and growth recommendations that drive future performance.
- Partner with regional teams to align SBU strategy with channel and customer plans, incorporating market feedback and managing trade-offs to ensure effective execution and business growth
- Collaborate with Brand, Sales, Product Line Management, and Product Development teams to prioritize strategic growth opportunities, accelerate speed-to-market, and maximize business impact
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes
What makes you a good fit
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Experience in category strategy, portfolio/product management, or strategic marketing; Marketing experience in the building materials industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate insights into scalable strategies across markets
- Strong influencing skills in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and leading without direct authority
- Experience working across multiple regions or markets (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Must be team oriented

The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 and $130,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
