About position:

The Senior Consultant – Network & Security Operations provides senior-level technical support and operational ownership for enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role leads complex incident resolution, drives root cause analysis, oversees high-risk changes, coordinates with internal and external teams, mentors’ junior engineers, and improves service stability across WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and secure access technologies.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network and security incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, routing, firewall, and secure access issues.
  • Lead technical response during major incidents and critical outages.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, security, application, telecom, MSP, and vendor teams.
  • Support enterprise networking, including Cisco, HPE Aruba, Silver Peak/Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN, and multi-provider WANs.
  • Diagnose routing, connectivity, latency, packet loss, and network performance issues.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto (including Panorama), and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, Client Connector) environments.
  • Review, implement, and validate high-risk network/security changes with rollback planning.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem Management, and drive continuous service improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, automation, monitoring, and operational standardization.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, ITIL Incident/Problem/Change Management, and security policies.
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, enterprise networking, Cisco/HPE Aruba, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, Zscaler, ServiceNow, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Aruba, Fortinet, PCNSE, Zscaler, or equivalent) and Experience in 24×7 NOC/SOC or Network & Security Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise networks, proven mentoring and technical leadership experience, exposure to automation, scripting, network monitoring, and operational improvements is a plus, strong expertise in TCP/IP, enterprise WAN/LAN/WLAN, and network architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, SD-WAN (Silver Peak/Aruba EdgeConnect), Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA).
  • Skilled in routing, switching, firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and network security troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in incident management, RCA, problem management, and major outage resolution.
  • Proficient with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
