<span>About this Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth within the assigned territory through the execution of commercial strategies, effective customer and distributor management, and strong team leadership. This role leads sales performance, develops strategic customer relationships, and collaborates cross-functionally to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives while delivering an exceptional customer experience. 

What you´ll do

  • Executes sales strategy and develops action plans for area of responsibility in line with strategic priorities
  • Coordinates execution of customer roadmap and ensures closure of CRM (Salesforce) projects
  • Actively manages implementation of price strategy in the region
  • Builds and maintains solid relationships with customers and distributors in the assigned territory
  • Drives implementation of key strategic initiatives in sales area
  • Delivers sales and distribution targets (KP OSG and PC % and / or GP% targets) in sales area & monitors competitor activities
  • Leads, coaches and mentors sales team members and ensures their respective education and development
  • Ensures efficient geographical coverage and cross-selling opportunities to achieve full business potential (sales and profit)
  • Coordinates tasks between key interfaces and ensures fulfillment of administrative tasks
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Customer Service, Application Engineering, and other functions, to ensure full internal support for sales team
  • Ensures compliant execution of sales processes & develops customer centric initiatives to enhance loyalty and long-term partnership
  • Provides sales forecast and monitors key KPIs & leverages CRM tools, data analytics, and automation to enhance sales performance

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Engineering
  • Preferable years of total experience: 10+
  • Yrs exp. in sales management: 5+
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution channels preferred
  • Leadership skills: urgency, ownership, and growth mindset
  • Experience with crisis management, sales forecasting, supply chain buying/selling processes, and value selling
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Fully bilingual English/Spanish
