About this Position
The Plant SHE Responsible (safety, health, and environment) is responsible for overseeing health and safety practices within the organization.
This role ensures compliance with legal regulations, promotes a safe work environment, and implements procedures to protect employees and the environment.
SHE responsible works to identify hazards, reduces the risks, and improves a culture of safety in organization.
What you´ll do:
Position key tasks:
- Performs monthly SHE reports (internal and external) -Performs all SHE and Legally related trainings
- Conducts risk assessments
- Develops action plans to reduce identified risks
- Analyzes personal protective equipment mandatory on the site and preforms changes in standard if necessary
- Organizes activities related to testing of equipment and work environment Conditions
- Ensures proper usage of PPE on site
- Works on development and implementation of safe work instructions and safe operation of production machinery
- Reports to management SHE compliance and safety improvements
- Conducts SHE audits
- Prepares and maintains, and ensures that effective implementation of SHE global standards and local standards
- Issues permit for work (work at height or similar)
- Monitor legal regulations and ensures compliance
- Manage waste management on the site and preforms monthly and Yearly reporting -
- Mange fire protection procedures on the site
- Promote a safety culture and works with all departments to ensure that all standards and instructions are followed
What makes you a good fit
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in safety discipline, engineering or technical science or related field with equivalent experience
- Production environment experience (3-5 years)
- Passed the professional exam for performing Health and Safety works
- License for fire protection standards implementation
- Strong knowledge of with local safety, environmental and fire protection laws, and regulations
- Proficient in risk assessments and safety analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong training and communication abilities
- Good written and verbal English skills
