About this Position

The HR Business Partner for Adhesives Operations partners with the plant managers to identify business needs and deploy HR solutions to fulfill these business needs.

What you´ll do

  • Identify business needs through proactive strategic stakeholder management
  • Develop a strategic HR Plan which aligns to the business deliverables
  • Identify key talent development strategies for team development and growth
  • Lead the design of talent initiatives across all plants in Adhesive Technologies Business
  • Partner the business in identifying key skills needed in teams and work with the talent acquistion team to deliver superior talents through external hiring
  • Design and deploy culture change initiatives
  • Lead and manage ongoing HR topics as Talent reviews, Merit cycle, Bonus and promotion reviews
  • Lead and manage Employee Relations issues such as employee disputes, performance issues

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' work experience in various fields of HR is required including at least two (2) years' experience as HR Business Partner; More than ten (10) years' experience is preferred
  • Work experience of working in complex and matrix structure of multi-national company is required
  • Union management experience and experience in managing employee grievances and employee relations in a factory set up is strongly preferred
  • Ability to influence and drive change through business leaders
  • Articulate and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; Native Korean speaker and fluent in English
  • Able to work at Songdo plant and go on business trips to each site/plant (Seoul, Eumseong, Cheonan) at least once a month
