What you’ll do
- Get hands-on experience creating and maintaining EHS programs, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Assist in auditing LOTO systems and updating safety documentation to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Analyze emissions and temperature data from Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) to support environmental reporting and compliance.
- Gain experience preparing state-level emissions reports and EPA permitting documentation.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for safety incidents and near-misses, contributing to corrective action planning.
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze EHS data, track compliance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What makes you a good fit
- Undergraduate student graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029 or master’s / graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Sciences or similar
- Microsoft Excel – Proficient in data analysis, charting, and reporting for EHS metrics.
- Root Cause Analysis – Preferred experience through coursework or internships.
- EPA Permitting – Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory reporting (preferred).
- OSHA Regulations – Understanding of key safety standards, including JSA and LOTO (preferred).

- This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
