- 5 year(s) previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment (Chemical or oil and gas a plus)
- Good verbal and written communication abilities, analytical skills, and computer literacy to include software for business performance reporting (MS Word, Excel, SAP)
- Five or more years of experience preferred in the following architectures: RSLogix 5/500/5000 PLC software (Rockwell), RSNetworx for Ethernet programming software, Factory Talk View, Machine/Site Edition, Seimens PCS7, 505, Foxboro
- Five or more years of experience preferred in the following programming languages: Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text
- BS Degree in Engineering required
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in Industry preferred
- Work experience in and/or supporting a Chemical Manufacturing Environment required
- Detailed knowledge in automation engineering design methods preferred
- Experience in PLC and/or DCS control system preferred
- Ability to hold high level technology, process and project discussions with internal customers influencing decision makers or external agencies if warranted
- Demonstrated understanding of pertinent regulatory compliance and approval requirements as it relates to existing and new technology
- Ability to multi task effectively and execute multiple projects and assignments at various stages.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong technical and data analysis skills required
- Must be familiar with company, state and federal safety and electrical regulations.

The salary for this role is $115,000.00- $130,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
