About this Position

The Sr. Innovation Project Manager – Automotive IMEA will play a key role in driving Henkel’s transformation toward e-mobility by managing multiple automotive innovation projects across the IMEA region. The role focuses on leading cross-functional project teams to develop and launch next-generation adhesive solutions for automotive applications.

This position requires a blend of technical understanding, strong project management skills, and business acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between innovation, operations, and customer teams—ensuring smooth execution and alignment with Henkel’s strategic goals for sustainable and advanced mobility solutions. 

What you´ll do

  • Drive the Automotive change to e-mobility by being part of the Automotive Innovation Project Management
  • Steer IMEA Innovation Projects in parallel and help to launch the next generation of Automotive Adhesives
  • Stand up for your project in front of the management to report the status, KPIs and to highlight risks
  • Guide the project team through challenging dynamic developments and ensure that changes are properly tracked
  • Be the troubleshooter and keep an eye on timing, cost and quality of the Project
  • Build your network within Henkel Adhesive Technologies to improve our Project Management
  • Meet customers and colleagues at the collaborating plants (travel up to 30%)
  • Work in a diverse Project Management Team, which supports and develops each other

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum 5years working experience as a Project Manager or more experience in a Project Management related role, ideally in automotive
  • You have completed your Master’s degree in the business, engineering or chemical field
  • You are keen about Automotive, and potentially also worked within this environment
  • You are a great communicator who brings people together and helps them focusing on the right target
  • MS Office is part of your daily work live, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and MS Project
  • Good communication skill and German would be desirable
