What you´ll do
The Mechanical Machine Operator performs technical activities required for the safe operation of beauty care and laundry packaging line equipment to ensure the production of a high-quality consumer finished good. This person is responsible for machine operation along with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on packaging line equipment while minimizing the interruption to production.
- Troubleshoot, repair and make adjustments to packaging line equipment
- Clean and change over packaging line equipment as necessary with minimal downtime
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
- Operate packaging line equipment
- Follow and maintain equipment centerlines
- Perform basic to intermediate mechanical activities
What makes you a good fit
- 2 to 3 years of current or recent production operation or industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging equipment (mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors) as well as hand and power tools
- Availability to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM) schedule as well as weekend overtime shifts as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational/technical coursework preferred
- Basic to intermediate computer (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and math skills
- Intermediate to advanced troubleshooting skills
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures

The pay rate for this role is $24.55 an hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
