About this position

What you´ll do

  • We are looking for a professional to join our Packaging Engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of packaging-related master data across systems, supporting product lifecycle management, material creation processes, and data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, systems knowledge (especially SAP), and a solid understanding of packaging specifications and materials. Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and update packaging material master data in SAP and other internal systems. Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards, procedures, and quality requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Quality) to validate and collect data inputs. Support the implementation of new packaging specifications and changes by managing related data flows.

  • Packaging Engineering Area the Packaging Engineering area plays a strategic role in industrial operations, involving the development, specification, control, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions. Professionals work closely with departments such as Quality, Production, Logistics, Marketing, and Procurement. Technical Skills (Hard Skills): Packaging Knowledge: Solid understanding of the main types of packaging (primary, secondary, tertiary), formats, applications, manufacturing processes, and functions. Printing Technologies: Technical knowledge of printing technologies (flexography, rotogravure, offset, screen printing, digital), substrates, and finishes used in packaging. Technical Specifications: Ability to create and review packaging and material specifications (plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, metals, etc.), considering technical, regulatory, and sustainability criteria. English mandatory, Spanish desirable. Knowledge of Power BI will be considered a plus.
