About this Position

The business planning specialist is a key role responsible for ensuring high-quality forecasting to support business growth. 

What you´ll do

  • Ensure a high-quality demand plan at the country, regional, and SBU levels to support business growth and translate market requirements into volume plans for operations
  • Work in close collaboration with sales, channels, PMs, BDMs, and marketing in APAC on business activities that impact the demand forecast, such as promotions, new product introductions, projects, or market changes
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias by analyzing root causes of forecast errors
  • Ensure proper preparation and facilitation of Demand Review meetings at the country and regional levels
  • Represent business planning in cross-functional special projects (e.g., complexity reduction, market-related initiatives such as customer collaboration, production transfer, M&A execution)
  • Represent business planning in crisis, shortage, and OSMI management and support daily operations
  • Continuously improve digitalization to enhance work efficiency, improve forecast accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in business planning or supply planning, ideally in a regional or cross-market context with a large product portfolio, is required
  • Proficiency in planning systems (SAP APO DP/SNP) and other digital skills is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional understanding of supply planning, sales, product management, and marketing dynamics is required
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to independently manage projects/topics, challenge assumptions, and drive planning improvements, is required
  • Skilled in translating data and trends into actionable business insights is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to align diverse stakeholders behind a consensus plan
  • Fluency in Korean and English is required; Japanese is a plus
