What you´ll do
Raw Material Preparation Operations
- Lead daily operations for raw material picking, weighing, and staging.
- Ensure all delivered materials comply with FIFO/FEFO, batch accuracy, and production requirements.
- Ensure all material movements and confirmations are correctly recorded in SAP.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate closely with the Production team regarding material readiness, schedule alignment, and urgent requests.
- Monitor material flow to ensure zero delays to production lines.
- Resolve material-related issues promptly to avoid production downtime.
Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse operators assigned to the raw material preparation area.
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, safety rules, PPE usage, and chemical handling procedures.
- Train and mentor team members; enforce discipline and promote strong work ethics.
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Perform stock monitoring, cycle counts, and support investigations of any discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely SAP transactions including transfer orders, issuing, and staging.
- Maintain traceability and batch integrity for all raw materials.
Safety, 5S & Housekeeping
- Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards within the preparation area.
- Ensure operators follow safety procedures and report any hazards or abnormalities.
Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrate a strong Kaizen mindset and proactively contribute to process and operational improvements.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and support Lean initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with Production, QC, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and proper material management.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome
- Understanding of chemical formulations, raw material handling, and batch preparation processes
- Good communication skills for coordinating with production and quality teams
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate tasks effectively
- English language proficiency (written and spoken) for documentation and communication
- Good to have: Experience with SAP for inventory or production processes
- Good to have: Green Belt Six Sigma certification for process improvement knowledge
