Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) program is one of the flagship talent initiatives of Henkel India, designed to support the Organization’s growth aspirations and attract a batch of high potential talents across commercial, supply chain and scientific tracks for a 18 months cross functional development journey.

The program’s objective is to develop high potential talents who can experience rapid career progression in the short / medium term.

The 18-month cross functional experience across tracks such as Commercial, Supply Chain, and Scientific were developed with an objective of enabling a holistic exposure and making them future ready by leveraging the power of experiential learning and high-impact projects. The USP of the LEAD program lies in its Value Proposition, as well as Innovative and Digital approaches, crafted to create a unique Henkel experience.

LEAD Executives will be selected through carefully calibrated assessment centers scientifically designed to identify potential and organization compatibility early on to be groomed for future roles in Henkel through this program.

Program Tracks

INDICATIVE ROLES IN COMMERCIAL TRACK
Account Management: Responsible for managing, planning & delivering on the business KPIs for the assigned customer / geography. Interacts with global and local stakeholders across customer service, product development, supply chain etc.
Business Development: Analyze business portfolio and drive to execution by partnering with relevant global and local stakeholders across sales, product development, technical customer service etc.
Technical Customer Service: Provide end to end Technical Customer service to customers leveraging our technologybased solutions. Identify new business opportunities, partnering with relevant global and local stakeholders in sales, product development etc
Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategy for the business in conjunction with relevant local and global stakeholders. Collaborate with global marketing teams leveraging digital, market modelling, pricing excellence etc.

INDICATIVE ROLES IN SUPPLY CHAIN TRACK
Supply Planning: Manage end to end supply planning process of the defined portfolio to meet required KPI’s and control inventory levels. This requires working with relevant stakeholders and implement best practices to increase operational efficiency.
Warehouse Management: Optimally manage warehousing at factories / depots and outsourced locations to exceed customer service expectations. Involves accuracy, process adherence and continuous improvement activities through proactive Leadership.

INDICATIVE ROLE IN SCIENTIFIC TRACK
Product Development: Support new product development, increase product efficiency, manage product portfolio in line with Henkel’s sustainability agenda by interacting with global and local stakeholders across commercial, operations and suppliers.

INDICATIVE ROLE IN HUMAN RESOURCES TRACK 
HR Business Partner: Work closely with business to develop and implement contemporary people processes that support the achievement of business goals and creating a future ready work environment and culture.

LEAD Executives will initially be based in Navi Mumbai. During the program course, Executives will be expected to move between various Henkel establishments in India / abroad. Location mobility is crucial in building a successful career in Henkel.

Henkel provides market competitive compensation & benefits. Business expenses will also be suitably covered.

This is a premier development program for Henkel and differs from conventional management trainee programs in terms of assessment process in selection and type of roles for placement. LEAD Executives will join as full-time employees at Henkel. 

The program will have an intense 18 months of carefully guided cross domain experiences for LEAD Executives. On completion of the 18 months, the LEAD Executive will be placed in longer term roles basis their aptitude, preference & organizational requirement.

The program objective is to develop high potential talents in Henkel who can see rapid career progression even in the short / medium term. LEAD Executives meeting organizational expectations can expect a fast growth path in India / overseas locations. 

Roles will be identified in council with the LEAD Executive basis their aptitude, preference & organizational requirement. LEAD Executives are urged to be as flexible as possible to make the most of opportunities that our global presence can provide. 

The LEAD program is designed to groom future potential for Henkel in India as well as International Locations. Rapid cross geographical growth is one of the strengths of Henkel and LEAD Executives can look forward to impactful roles in India as well as International Locations.

The design of the program has been carefully structured to identify & develop future potential. We trust Executives will have a challenging & fulfilling experience. However, in the unfortunate event of an expectation mismatch, separation can be executed with 90 days’ notice on either side
