Supplier Awards 2025 granted to Synthomer, Dow and Kolon Industries

Henkel recognizes its strategic partners for best-in-class performance across the value chains

Henkel Adhesive Technologies has awarded the performance of its strategic partners with its annual Supplier Awards. These recognitions honor the close and successful collaboration across the value chains during the year. Under the theme ‘Connecting Strategy, Excellence & Impact’, the business unit has granted 2025 awards in the three categories of Sustainability, Innovation and Supply Resilience to Synthomer, Dow and Kolon Industries.

Sustainability Award: Synthomer

Henkel has presented its Sustainability Award to Synthomer, a leading supplier of high-performance, highly specialized polymers and ingredients headquartered in London, UK. In 2025, Synthomer set a benchmark in climate action through impactful carbon-emission reduction initiatives and by exemplifying strategic partnership. A major achievement was the collaboration with Henkel in one of its key adhesives’ portfolios enabling the launch of a solution with a significantly lower carbon footprint across various markets. Synthomer´s approach marked by decisive action, transparent data sharing and forward-thinking collaboration reflects the spirit of this award and Henkel´s commitment to co-creating sustainable solutions.

Innovation Award: Dow

Henkel has granted its Innovation Award to Dow, one of the world’s leading materials science companies headquartered in Midland, Michigan, USA. In 2025, the company has driven innovation across multiple Henkel Adhesive Technologies business units through a strong project portfolio and effective execution. Dow actively pursued broader collaborations including non-traditional areas and has enabled Henkel´s expansion into new regions with safer materials. Through ‘sustainovation’, Dow has granted exclusive access to solutions that significantly advance the sustainability goals and strengthen market leadership.

Supply Resilience Award: Kolon Industries

Henkel has presented its Supply Resilience Award to Kolon Industries, a speciality materials company based in Seoul, South Korea. In 2025, the company has exemplified Henkel´s vision of operational excellence by consistently delivering at targeted ‘on time in full’ levels and ensuring uninterrupted supply. Beyond operational performance, Kolon Industries has strategically supported the long-term resilience goals by advanced inventory management practises and demonstrating full compliance with Henkel´s regulatory and supply chain transparency requests.
