InnoTrans 2026: Henkel showcases solutions for the entire rail vehicle lifecycle

Under the motto “Your Partner from Design to Maintenance,” Henkel Adhesive Technologies will showcase its comprehensive portfolio for the railway industry at InnoTrans 2026 in Hall 8.2, Booth 385. The solutions support manufacturers and operators throughout the entire lifecycle of rail vehicles, from design and manufacturing to maintenance, repair and servicing. The focus is on materials and services that help make applications safer, more durable and more efficient while meeting increasingly stringent sustainability and regulatory compliance requirements.

A particular focus will be on Henkel’s portfolio of silane-modified polymers ‏(SMPs). The company will showcase two new solutions: Teroson MS 949 FR, a flame-retardant sealant, and Teroson MS 940, a high-performance adhesive and sealant for demanding applications. The portfolio is complemented by Loctite NEO, a debonding solution, and the Soho DM90 dispensing system. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the products firsthand, discuss their properties and applications, and receive advice from technical experts on their specific challenges.

Henkel combines global experience with hands-on application expertise. At its Application Engineering Centers, customer applications can be analyzed in practical workshops, solutions validated and potential sources of failure investigated. The Manufacturing Excellence Program focuses directly on production processes: Together with customers’ teams, Henkel experts identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce scrap and waste, and optimize the use of resources. In this way, Henkel supports its customers not only in selecting the right materials but also in implementing them reliably in production.

On September 23, 2026, at 10 a.m., Guillaume Sandoz, Global Application Engineer Expert Rail, and Dimitri Clément, Global Key Account Manager Rail, will deliver a 45-minute presentation in English at the Speakers’ Corner, providing insights into the latest developments in bonding, sealing and coating technologies. The presentation is titled “Adhesives, Sealants, and Coatings: Paving the Way for a Safe and Sustainable Future.” Both presenters are Certified European Adhesive Engineers, underscoring their extensive technical expertise in the development and application of adhesive technologies. On September 22, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m., Henkel will also host a networking event at its booth.
