With Bonderite M-AD 2000A, Henkel Adhesive Technologies introduces a new additive for the anodizing process that makes the surface treatment of aluminum more efficient and sustainable. The additive enables anodizing baths to operate at temperatures of up to 24 °C – significantly higher than the conventional 18–20 °C range. Thereby it reduces the energy required for cooling and extends bath life, all without compromising the quality or performance of the anodized layer.

Henkel Adhesive Technologies is introducing a new generation of its Darex COV sealants. The formulations do not contain phthalate-based plasticizers and ensure the reliable sealing of metal packaging with improved health and environmental credentials. With this step, Henkel is setting standards in the early elimination of harmful ingredients in industrial adhesives and sealants.

Lightweight, robust, and crystal-clear: PET bottles are an indispensable part of the beverage industry. Used millions of times, they keep carbonated beverages sparkling, water fresh, and juices aromatic. A key component of their recipe for success: PET is one of the few plastics that can be recycled almost infinitely –  if all components cooperate. The adhesive that holds the label to the bottle is crucial to the quality of the recycled material. Anything that doesn't dissolve during the recycling process leaves residue on the PET flakes. Henkel's new hot melt adhesive, Technomelt EM 335 RE, enables clean separation.
