What you´ll do
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales performance, market share growth, and execution excellence within Publix across the assigned region. Leads DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing) execution while serving as the key liaison between Henkel, Publix category and supply chain leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen customer partnerships.
Sales & Business Management
- Deliver against regional sales targets including revenue, volume, and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute customer-specific business plans for Publix aligned with Henkel brand strategies.
- Identify growth opportunities across categories, leveraging insights to expand distribution and increase velocity.
DSMP Execution Leadership
- Oversee and improve all DSMP metrics:
- Line Review Preparation
- Distribution: Expand and protect authorized assortment and new item launches.
- Shelving: Optimize shelf placement, facings, and planogram compliance.
- Merchandising: Ensure high-impact in-store execution, displays, and promotional compliance.
- Pricing: Monitor adherence to pricing strategies and identify gaps versus competitive set.
Analyze store-level and syndicated data to identify execution gaps and implement corrective actions.
Partner with field teams and Publix stakeholders to drive consistency in execution.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Publix Category Managers, supply chain and store operations teams.
- Collaborate on joint business planning, promotions, and category growth initiatives.
- Represent Henkel as a trusted strategic partner with a focus on long-term value creation.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and support field sales teams, brokers, or agency partners (if applicable).
- Partner with internal teams including Category Management, Sales Strategy, Supply Chain, and Sales Finance.
Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize sales data, retail analytics tools, and market insights to inform decisions.
- Track, analyze, and report on business performance, DSMP scorecards, and KPI trends.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
What makes you a good fit
- 5+ years of experience in retail, CPG, or account management
- Experience working with or managing Publix accounts; prior penetration preferred
- Proven track record of driving profitable sales growth
- Cross-functional experience across sales, supply chain, marketing, and/or category management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Solid general business management knowledge
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L understanding
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to frequently visit Publix headquarters and support regional business across the Tampa–Orlando market

The salary range for this role is $ 120,000.00 and $ 160,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
