About this Position

This role is responsible for driving profitable growth across key industrial and infrastructure markets within the Benelux region by developing strategic customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing commercial growth plans. The position focuses on delivering solutions that support asset integrity, corrosion prevention, protective coatings, insulation efficiency, sealing, and infrastructure protection. Working closely with asset owners, engineering companies, contractors, distributors, and internal cross-functional teams, the role plays a critical part in expanding market share and partner network,  strengthening customer relationships, and delivering sustainable business growth. 

What you´ll do

  • Develop and execute industry-focused business plans to achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives across the Benelux region.
  • Drive business development activities across the Energy, Oil & Gas(Upstream, Midstream and Downstream), Petrochemical, Chemical, Water & Wastewater, Infrastructure, Utilities, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with asset owners, EPCs, consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and other strategic stakeholders.
  • Expanding applicator network.
  • Promote solutions for corrosion prevention, asset integrity management, insulation performance improvement, protective coatings and infrastructure protection.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new project opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships and expanding market presence.
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, site surveys, business reviews, and market assessments to understand customer needs and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Drive specification activities and support the selection of company solutions in oil and gas,,industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, quotations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements in line with company objectives and policies.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts, market intelligence, and business updates through CRM and reporting tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Deliver technical presentations, customer training sessions, product demonstrations, and industry seminars to increase customer engagement and market awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all business activities.

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, business development, account management, or project sales.
  • Experience serving customers within Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, Water & Wastewater, Marine, Infrastructure, Utilities, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and delivering sustainable sales growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in strategic account planning, opportunity management, and value-based selling.
  • Ability to engage effectively with asset owners, EPCs, engineering firms, contractors, distributors, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Experience selling technical solutions related to asset integrity, corrosion protection, coatings, maintenance, reliability, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM systems, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a regional role.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French would be a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Benelux region.
