If so, join our team as a Logistics Support Specialist.

In this role, you will support the Logistics team by ensuring the smooth coordination of transportation, warehouse operations, and logistics processes. Acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and external partners, you will contribute to operational excellence while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What you´ll do

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders on transportation issues, urgent deliveries, and operational challenges to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Warehouse and Customer Service teams to resolve logistics-related issues and maintain a high level of service.
  • Communicate with Supply Chain Planning teams when required to support efficient planning and execution of logistics activities.
  • Support transport planning activities for both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate ADR transports and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety requirements.
  • Prepare export documentation and liaise with customs brokers to facilitate international shipments.
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and implementation of logistics master data.
  • Monitor and support Delivery On Time performance (POT-C) and contribute to achieving service level targets.
  • Assist with overall logistics cost controlling activities and provide support in identifying efficiency opportunities.
  • Manage and coordinate logistics and transportation complaints for the Westerlo site, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving logistics processes, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing costs.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams, as well as external partners such as freight forwarders, drivers, customs brokers, and production sites worldwide.

Additional information: this position is 100% site-based in Westerlo and remote work is not possible. We operate on a 40-hour work week, and the Logistics department ensures coverage during warehouse operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
