About this Position

Application engineer who works together with business team by providing technical support of rubber-based, plastic based automotive parts and adhesive& sealants through the intensive communication with regional/ global team and customers as well.

What you´ll do

  • Technically lead developmental and commercialization of products by optimization of application processes, and directly interact with customers for application process optimization, trouble shooting and solve product and process related problems
  • Solve technology-specific fundamental problems associated with entire product lines and/or product classes through novel approaches to application process development, troubleshooting, and material characterization using analytical instruments 

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer science, Material Science or other related fields is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in chemical industry or automotive industry for rubber-based, plastic based automotive parts and adhesive & sealants
  • Good understanding for Korea automotive customers and technical requirements
  • Korean is must and intermediate level in English is preferred (email communication in English is enough to apply)
  • Strong data analysis skills, time management skills, strong verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills
  • Collaboration as a team, able to work independently on multi-task assignments, successfully self-directs project work, strong ownership and responsibility, customer-oriented mindset, commitment to deliver the highest level of quality work consistently
