About this Position

As an Adhesive Application Engineer for Semiconductor, you will provide technical support of semiconductor adhesive through intensive communication, application test and analysis with the regional / global team and customers as well. 

What you´ll do

  • Provide technical support for Henkel's electronics market materials product line (semiconductor)
  • Secure technology leadership in development and commercialization of products through material application process optimization and to directly communicate with customers to resolve product and process related issues
  • Solve fundamental issues related to the entire product line and/or product family by developing new application processes, troubleshooting and characterizing materials
  • Responsible for field testing using application and analysis equipment

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in semiconductor LCM, FOWLP or technical customer interface environment
  • Deep understanding of the latest data-center memory and 2.xD package trends and excellent data analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in one-on-one communication with colleagues, customers and in group environments, and the ability to work independently or multitask as a team member
  • Along with the ability to successfully handle on-sight support of complex customer issues
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to complete projects and consistently deliver the highest level of quality based on a customer-centric mindset and a deep understanding of customer needs and culture
  • Ability to formulate strong conclusions and path forward from project work
  • Korean is native and English is intermediate or above
