About this Position

Managing overall maintenance operations. Skilled in preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment reliability, and team supervision. Strong knowledge of safety standards, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement.  

What you´ll do

  • Oversee Maintenance Operations: supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: diagnose technical problems and carry out timely repairs or coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
  • Budget and Cost Control: manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources, spare parts, and tools.
  • Compliance and Safety: ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services, spare parts, and equipment procurement.
  • Facility Management: maintain the overall condition of the physical infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
  • Recordkeeping and Reporting: maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, incidents, and repairs. Prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, tools, and systems to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. 

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    (Master’s degree is a plus.)
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including HVAC, PLC, automation, and facility maintenance.
  • Experience in implementing and managing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams, manage performance, and develop staff.
    Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and decision-making skills under time pressure.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and procedures in industrial or facility environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance projects and budgets effectively.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken (especially if working in multinational environments).
