About this Position
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Raws and Packs Planner to join our team in an operation focused on adhesive products. This role is responsible for the planning and coordination of raw materials and packaging components for multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The planner will work closely with third-party manufacturers, ensuring material availability and optimal production flow.
This position requires advanced planning capabilities, strong analytical skills, and experience managing large datasets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, particularly within maquila environments, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
What you´ll do
- Develop and maintain raw materials and packaging plans to meet production and delivery schedules across different SBUs.
- Ensure timely and accurate requirement planning for all raw and pack materials.
- Collaborate closely with maquiladores to monitor production progress, resolve issues, and optimize supply chain performance.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to align supply with demand.
- Manage and analyze large databases to support planning decisions.
- Generate and maintain planning reports and KPIs.
- Conduct regular visits to maquiladores to strengthen relationships and ensure operational alignment.
- Act as the key point of contact for material planning in SAP and Excel-based systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in maquila operations or manufacturing environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP (planning modules) is required.
- Proficient in handling large datasets and generating reports.
- Advanced Excel skills desirable.
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Willingness and availability to travel locally within the city to visit manufacturers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
