What you’ll do
Gain hands-on experience in the packaging industry within a fast-paced production environment. As a Packaging Engineering Intern at Henkel, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Supply Chain, Marketing, Production, and Distribution - to support packaging innovation and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Participating in package testing and line/filling trials to validate packaging performance.

Supporting the Packaging Engineering team in identifying and evaluating new materials to optimize cost and performance.

Collaborating with vendors on packaging designs and requirements for cost-driven or customer-driven projects.

Conducting root cause analysis on packaging quality issues and coordinating corrective actions with suppliers.

Benchmarking packaging components and processes to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Contributing to sustainability initiatives within the production environment.
What makes you a good fit

2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student in Packaging Engineering or a related field

Strong foundational knowledge of packaging materials, formats, and processes

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; AutoCAD skills are a plus

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Comfortable presenting conclusions and recommendations to management

Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn while supporting various team projects
