What you’ll do
As an Adhesives Innovation Lab intern for our brand Loctite, you will:
- Get hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art lab setting
- Learn and apply technical engineering skills/principles and be exposed to a wide variety of markets/applications
- Work independently and as a team member on challenging lab projects
- Provide technical support, perform research, collect data and report on adhesive and dispensing equipment performance in manufacturing processes and environments
- Troubleshoot, perform failure analysis and research competing products and equipment
- Technical liaison with our customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and R&D
- Assist in the sales process by providing technical training, engineering support and identify new product development opportunities
What makes you a good fit
- A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or Material Science
- Knowledge of lab best practices and safety protocols
- Familiarity with design of experiments and scientific methods
- CAD experience is a plus
- Programming skills are a plus (Python preferred)

- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
