What you’ll do
- Work with experienced chemists and scientist on adhesives product development in the leading adhesive company
- Gain working experience at a large, global organization
- Get hands-on experience creating product formulations in a lab
- Provide support for various projects assigned by Sr. Chemist, Scientist and/or Lab Manager
- Prepare batch formulations according to written instructions by Sr. Chemist, Scientist and/or Lab Manager
- Understand chemical ingredients and formulating under instructions
- Employ basic problem-solving skill sets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates
- Collect and organize data in a coherent format and communicate basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcome
- Conduct hands on adhesive product development for electric device applications in laboratory
What makes you a good fit
- An undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 or graduate student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Science
- Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other team members in product development programs
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member and independently on multi-task assignments
- Previous internship experience is preferred but not required

- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through August 14th, 2026
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
