What you’ll do
- Get hands-on experience creating product formulations in laboratory settings with real-world impact
- Contribute to the development of new products in the metal packaging industry
- Perform lab testing on formulations to evaluate performance and quality
- Assist in the development and validation of new test methods
- Learn about the metal packaging industry, its standards, and innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support formulation and testing projects

- A current undergraduate student (Junior/Senior) pursuing a degree in Chemistry
- Ability to independently research and develop innovative solutions in a lab environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong ability to communicate scientific ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally
- Experience presenting data and findings to internal stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a passion for hands-on experimentation and product development

Additional information
- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- The anticipated start date for this internship is January 12, 2026, and the anticipated end date is August 14, 2026.
- This position requires you to be available to work ~20 hours a week during the Spring and 40 hours/week during the Summer
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $27/hour. This is the rate that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
