About this Position

This position ensures compliance with chemical safety regulations and Henkel standards by reviewing MSDS, coordinating SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) activities at the Gasan Innovation Center, and supporting cross-functional regulatory projects.

What you´ll do

  • Conduct technical and regulatory evaluations of MSDS to ensure compliance with Henkel standards and Korean chemical regulations
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of MSDS documentation
  • Collaborate with purchasing, SHE(Safety, Health, Environment), plants, and other functions to manage and validate MSDS
  • Maintain MSDS database records and support system updates for chemical approvals
  • Serve as SHE representative at Gasan Innovation Center, providing guidance on safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Support site-level SHE activities including training, legal reporting, inspections, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) evaluation, and internal audits
  • Monitor and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with Korea Industrial Safety and Health Act and Laboratory Safety Act
  • Monitor local chemical regulations, share updates, and support cross-functional projects on safety and regulatory compliance

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field is required
  • Entry-level candidates can apply, and experience in MSDS preparation and review is a plus
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Native-level proficiency in Korean is required and business proficiency in English is essential
  • Good communication skills, initiative and willingness to learn, passionate
