What you´ll do

Lead the charge in supporting Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ retail sales team, fueling success across financial and strategic initiatives for the Retail Home Center business. Spearhead the implementation of high-impact strategies for key initiatives at The Home Depot and Lowe’s, ensuring alignment with top-tier retail goals. Oversee a team of 15 Field Sales professionals and external Sales Representatives, delivering results through expert leadership and hands-on collaboration. Partner directly with Home Improvement merchandising execution teams to bring in-store strategies to life, enhancing customer experience and product visibility. From designing field strategy to executing every detail, own the full lifecycle of in-field retail activation—turning vision into action and strategy into measurable success.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Drive Field Execution: Lead key initiatives and projects from strategy to execution, ensuring seamless activation in the field. 
    • Retail Partner Alignment: Collaborate closely with account teams at The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards to understand and support their unique strategies, priorities, and business needs.
    • Field Sales Leadership: Serve as the voice and advocate for the Field Sales Team, equipping them with the tools, direction, and support needed to excel in the Home Improvement retail channel.
    • Strategic Communication: Act as a vital link between field operations and Henkel leadership—sharing insights, surfacing opportunities, and influencing decisions from the ground up. 
    • Cross-Functional Team Management: Lead the Field Sales Team across multiple functions including meeting prep, data analysis, project planning, and communication of account-level initiatives to ensure flawless execution.
    • Trade Marketing Collaboration: Partner with Henkel’s trade marketing team to develop and deploy promotional programs that drive off-shelf placement and increase product attachment. 
    • Team Development & Focus: Continuously elevate the effectiveness of the Field Sales Team, aligning their efforts with broader business goals and ensuring consistent execution. 
    • Retail Meeting Engagement: Play an active role in planning and executing key retailer meetings throughout the year—monthly merchandising reviews, PLRs, top-to-top meetings, demo days, and more. 
    • 3rd Party Merchandising Oversight: Lead and align all efforts of third-party in-store merchandising teams, setting strategy

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Education – BS/BA in business.
    • The office is located in Atlanta, GA
    • Travel – Ability to travel up to 30%
    • Experience — 5-10 years, Sales or Marketing experience, CPG industry a must, Home Improvement Home Center account experience and cross-functional team experience a plus.
    • Special skills - Data Analysis, Organization & Time Management, Communication, Leadership & Decision Making
    • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must.

The salary for this role is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
