About this Position

The On-Site Representative plays a critical role in supporting daily production operations at the customer’s automotive manufacturing site. The position ensures optimal adhesive product performance, manages consignment inventory, monitors process quality, and acts as the first point of contact between Henkel and the customer’s production team. 

What you´ll do

  • Provide daily on-site technical support at the customer’s automotive production lines to ensure proper adhesive application and performance.
  • Conduct routine process checks and ensure adherence to application parameters, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Manage consignment stock and inventory, including accurate tracking, reporting, and documentation of product consumption.
  • Support forecasting and material ordering activities to ensure timely supply and uninterrupted production.
  • Monitor product quality and process efficiency and escalate any technical issues to the Technical Customer Service (TCS) or Engineering teams as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with customer line operators, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer’s site and Henkel’s internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, and Technical Support).
  • Prepare daily or weekly service reports summarizing product usage, issues, and improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed during on-site operations.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related technical field).
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical service, production, or process engineering preferably within the automotive or chemical manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of automotive production processes (e.g., body shop, paint shop, assembly line) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently on-site.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic data reporting.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
