What you´ll do
- Reshape solvent-based products portfolio towards more sustainable solutions (CMR-free, bio-based, …) for our customers.
- Develop ready-to-upscale lab prototypes focusing on manufacturing process capabilities as well as process safety aspects.
- Screen the market for novel and/or more sustainable raw materials (monomers, initiators, tackifiers,…) options to deliver higher performances and/or safer end use at the customer.
- Brainstorm with Düsseldorf PD team to model interactions between UV light and curable material to optimize curing efficiency based on customer equipment setup.
- Lead 5S initiatives in PD labs combined with high level of SHE awareness. Get awareness of water-based acrylics and provide support whenever required.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's or Master's degree students or recent graduates in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Fluent in French or Flemish, with good level in English.
- Available for 12+ months as from June/July 2026.
- Eligible to work and live in Belgium for the duration of the internship.
