Our 18-month CHAiNGERS Operations & Supply Chain Trainee Program prepares you for a fast-track development in the Operations & Supply Chain organization at Henkel Adhesives Technologies. As a CHAiNGER, you will receive a permanent employment contract from day one, enjoy high visibility and benefit from global career opportunities. 

Throughout this time, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the different functions of Operations & Supply Chain, take over projects in our plants, build a broad network, benefit from individual training and development plan that will prepare you for future management positions.

Getting Started: The program kicks off with an exciting onboarding week that introduces you to all the important information about Henkel, Adhesive (A) and Adhesives Operations & Supply Chain (AO). And the best part: You will meet and connect with all the other CHAiNGERS trainees in your region. Afterwards, you will start your adventure at your location plant and get to know your future tasks, colleagues and mentor. Together with your mentor you will then shape your individual learning journey at AO.

Building your Foundation: In the first months you will join our production team. You will understand production processes and experience the shopfloor culture as well as all steps of the value stream in the plant in real life. During these months you will support efficiency and optimization initiatives and and thus make an impact on the plant.

Exploring new horizons: You will embark on 3 functional rotations in selected departments (e.g. Safety, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Lean Management or Supply Planning). 

In parallel you will be introduced to the different areas of Supply Chain and related functions like Customer Service and Sales to build a broad understanding of the organization. 

It helps you to understand our customers’ needs and the daily challenges that we solve for them. After gaining an insight into the department, you will be assigned tasks and work actively on projects to deepen your expertise and explore Operations & Supply Chain from different perspectives.

Get a strategic perceptive: You will get involved in a cross functional project in close collaboration with the regional as well as global Henkel Adhesive teams. 

This will give you the chance to take on an exciting project with thrilling challenges and thus support a breakthrough objective and make an impact on key strategic initiatives.

Throughout the program, you will benefit from individual trainings (Lean Six Sigma, Digitalization & Agility, Leadership Essentials) to prepare you for your future management position. Thereby you will receive guidance from an experienced mentor who will help you identify your individual prospects, give you feedback on your performance and agree development measures with you. 

Not only will you develop meaningful professional contacts and relationships with senior leaders, but you will also have the chance to exchange ideas and build a network with other trainees from across the world who are involved in the program. 
At the end of the program, many career opportunities are waiting for you within AO - whether expert or project career.  We will support you in unlocking your potential and finding the right career track for you.

If your qualifications are convincing, we will call you to get to know you better and tell you more about your CHAiNGER role.


Step 3: Panel Interview

In the next step we want to learn more about your personality and skills.


Step 4: Virtual Assessment Center

You will get the chance to convince us of your interpersonal, / problem-solving in several tasks.


Step 5: Job Offer

After a successful Assessment Center, you will get an offer to embark on your individual learning journey as CHAiNGER.
