What do you think is the coolest part of the program?

What I like most about the program is the opportunity it provides to work in different departments. This experience has been instrumental in my personal growth, as it requires me to adapt to new and unfamiliar situations while gaining a deep understanding of each department and its unique requirements. Beyond learning from different departments and tasks, collaborating with diverse teams allows me to adapt and appreciate different working perspectives, ultimately bringing out the best in each team member.

Could you tell us a little more about your different rotations?

I spent three years in the Shopper & Net Revenue Management department, where I acquired knowledge across all Henkel Consumer Brands Categories. This experience helped me to understand shopper needs, drive category growth, take part in strategic decisions like pricing and promotions, and develop my analytical skills significantly.

Currently, I am in the Marketing Department, responsible of Laundry Detergent brands like Wipp Express and Perlan. This role is an opportunity to fully explore the entire marketing journey, from launching new products to developing brand communication and promotional strategies. It's truly enriching to see how the knowledge gained in my previous experience is benefiting me in this new marketing role.

Do you have any tips for others considering applying at Henkel?

My foremost advice is to be yourself. When considering applying to Henkel, it's crucial to be authentic and express your interests and concerns openly. Being yourself is the best way to fit into Henkel's culture. Additionally, curiosity, passion, and enthusiasm are highly valued traits. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and show this curiosity to the company!

Do you have any take-aways from the program so far

It is a very enriching program, mainly because the diverse experiences in various departments have granted me a comprehensive understanding of the business. This holistic perspective enables me to get the bigger picture of the company. When making decisions, my knowledge from different departments allows more accurate decision-making, considering the potential impact on other areas of the company.
