In 1998, Henkel’s subsidiary in Sofia began building up Henkel’s traditional business. A distribution structure for detergents and cosmetic products has been operating since 2003. Since September 2007, Henkel has also been manufacturing in Bulgaria at a Bautechnik plant located near the capital city of Sofia. The most important brands are Bref, Ceresit, Clin, Fa, Gliss, Loctite, Moment, Palette, Persil, Perwoll, Pur, Rex, Schauma, Silan, Somat, Taft and Thomsit.
