About this Position

This role is part of a key project aimed at strengthening packaging master data management across the region. You will play an essential role in ensuring that each material has the correct technical information in SAP, collaborating with teams in the United States and other global areas. You’ll work with data, specifications, and packaging components, in daily contact with technical teams. If you have advanced English, attention to detail, and an interest in the world of packaging, this is your opportunity to grow in an international environment. The position will be based in Vallejo, Mexico.

What you´ll do

  • Create, maintain, and update packaging material master data in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and data governance policies.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Quality teams to validate technical information.
  • Support the implementation of new packaging specifications and product changes.
  • Interact daily with Packaging teams in the U.S. (26 production plants).
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes related to 

What makes you a good fit

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience or interest in packaging, technical specifications, and materials.
  • Advanced English proficiency is mandatory – daily use in technical contexts.
  • Knowledge of packaging types (primary, secondary, tertiary).
  • Familiarity with printing technologies and materials (plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, etc.).
  • Ability to review and create technical specifications.
  • SAP handling (creation and maintenance of master data).
  • Data analysis and attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Effective communication and teamwork in multicultural environments.
