About this Position
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This role ensures seamless integration of technology with warehouse operations, improving inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and overall logistics efficiency. The Logistics Manager WMS Systems will work closely with IT and operations teams, driving continuous improvements in Logistics automation and digital transformation to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

What you´ll do
- Develop, implement, and improve logistics processes aligned with company SOPs and project goals
- Act as a project lead for logistics-related initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Lead WMS implementation, upgrades, and integrations with ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and other supply chain software.
- Develop and implement system enhancements to improve warehouse productivity and accuracy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and IT to resolve system issues and optimize performance.
- Develop training programs for warehouse staff and management on WMS usage, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Analyze warehouse operations and recommend technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
- Supports development and implementation to support customer requirements
- Implement real-time dashboards and reporting tools for improved decision-making
- Utilize WMS data to generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, picking efficiency, and inventory turnover.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing WMS in a 3PL, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Expertise in WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
- Experience in system integrations with ERP, TMS, and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and vendors.
