Daniel Danielczky

Current location: Düsseldorf, Germany
Plant name and location (during program): Heidelberg, Germany
Program start date: September 2023

What position did you take over after the program? What are you responsible for now
I am currently working as Value & Deployment Manager EU in the Digitalization team for AO, where I am responsible for deploying MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) at our sites in Ireland and Drogenbos. My role is primarily project driven ensuring standards are met, coordinating timelines, and acting as the link between the DX team and operations to ensure solutions work both technically and operationally

How can you benefit from the program in your current position?
The trainee program gave me a strong end‑to‑end understanding of processes, which is key for successful digitalization. Hands‑on experience on the shop floor helped me understand operators’ challenges and translate them into practical digital solutions.

The broad exposure also allowed me to build a strong network and work as an allrounder across functions, giving me a clear advantage in driving change

What would be an advice you would give young graduates starting at Henkel?
Be open to learning. The 1.5‑year program gives you the opportunity to explore different areas, discover what you enjoy, and shape your future career. Stay curious, be bold, take responsibility early, and don’t be afraid to drive change. That’s where real development happens.
