What position did you take over after the program? What are you responsible for now
Upon completion of the Chaingers program, I transitioned into the role of Sustainability Project Engineer, where I was exposed to a field, I am deeply passionate about driving sustainability and manufacturing projects within a chemical plant environment. Subsequently, I moved into the role of SHE & Engineering Lead, managing both functions at the Abu Dhabi plant following its integration into the organization.

How can you benefit from the program in your current position?
The Chaingers program played a pivotal role in preparing me for my current position as SHE & Engineering Lead. Through its cross‑functional rotations and hands‑on project ownership, I developed a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, sustainability integration, and stakeholder management within a chemical plant environment. Moreover, the program strengthened my ability to lead projects end‑to‑end, make data‑driven decisions, and translate strategic objectives into practical site‑level actions. It also enhanced my adaptability and leadership confidence, which has been particularly valuable in managing dual responsibilities across SHE and Engineering functions.

What would be an advice you would give young graduates starting at Henkel?
Stay curious, take ownership early, and actively seek opportunities beyond your comfort zone. Embracing flexibility, resilience, and collaboration will accelerate your learning and growth at Henkel while building strong technical and problem‑solving skills. Be open to feedback, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, and view challenges as learning opportunities. This mindset will help you grow with confidence and create meaningful impact in your role.
